Billie Eilish Shares That Irish Fans Make Her Feel ‘Truly Understood’ in Dublin as she wrapped up the U.K. and European leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour. The pop sensation closed the chapter with two sold-out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena, where she reflected on her heritage and delivered a touching message to her fans.
Performing in Dublin on July 26, the 22-year-old star revealed how deeply connected she felt to the Irish crowd. “Obviously, I am not from here, but it’s really cool to come somewhere and everybody looks exactly like you,” she said with a laugh. “You’re all just as pasty as me. I love it.”
Eilish’s candid words didn’t stop there. She added, “It just makes me feel so seen. Also, a thousand of my relatives are in the crowd right now, I’m pretty sure.” With a heartfelt smile, she praised the audience, calling them “so beautiful” and expressing her gratitude: “I love it here – it’s so beautiful and you are all so beautiful and I see so many familiar faces out there.”
The emotional moment served as the perfect finale to a whirlwind European run that included a record-breaking five-night stretch at London’s O2 Arena earlier in July. During her July 17 O2 show, Eilish also hinted at an exciting new collaboration with legendary filmmaker James Cameron, known for Avatar and Titanic.
Just days earlier, at her July 12 performance in Manchester, she teased the project further. “I can’t say much about it, but it’s something really special,” she told the crowd, noting the unusually high number of cameras capturing the show.
Eilish’s latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, dropped in May 2025 via Darkroom/Interscope Records. The record made a huge splash, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 339,000 equivalent album units. Featuring standout singles like “Lunch,” “Birds of a Feather,” and “Chihiro,” the album follows her Grammy-nominated 2021 project Happier Than Ever, which topped the charts worldwide.
Looking ahead, Eilish is set to bring her tour across the Atlantic. The North American leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour kicks off in September and runs through December, promising fans an unforgettable experience.
